With a growing market share in Romania, SABMiller was looking to extend its local operations through its Romanian subsidiary, Ursus Breweries.
The large amount of existing documents within the company and the multiple user access to a single document oriented Ursus Breweries towards a solution which would enable the full control over the creation, review, approval and document archiving processes.
In order to meet Ursus’ requirements to ensure an efficient flow of information and maintain high efficiency for internal processes, iQuest successfully developed and implemented a document management solution, based on the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server platform.
The new solution enables a complete audit for each document, by allowing the verification and identification of the state of each document; the users who have created, modified or deleted the document; the moment in which the state or content of the document was modified.
It offers centralised content creation combined with intelligent content distribution. The solution deals with common security issues, by using clever filtering tools that automatically sort and tag content with metadata to allow ‘role-based’ user access.
